Jody owns Koala Insulation of North Texas and hosts Porchside to help homeowners better understand their homes. The conversations bring different home professionals into the discussion, from attics and HVAC to roofs and everyday maintenance.
Ollie is Jody’s dog and Porchside’s companion. You’ll find him around the edges of the show, usually looking ready for company.

Who we are
Porchside with Jody is Jody Harr’s homeowner newsletter and interview series. It is administered through NTX Building Solutions Inc., doing business as Koala Insulation of North Texas. This notice covers porchsidewithjody.com, its signup form, and The Porchside Note. Our content and signup service are intended for adults in the United States.
Information we collect and why
When you sign up, we collect your email address and the name you choose to provide. We also receive information you send when you contact us, along with subscription preferences, submission records, and the source of a signup when available. We use this information to provide the checklist and newsletter, answer questions, manage subscriptions, and protect and improve the service.
Our hosting, form, and email providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, timestamps, page activity, and delivery or engagement information. Email tracking, where enabled, may record opens and link clicks; those measurements are not always accurate. Cookies or similar technologies may support website operation and measurement. Your browser can limit cookies, although some features may work differently.
Your subscriber list stays private
We do not sell our subscriber list or provide it to podcast guests, sponsors, or partners for their own marketing. We use service providers, including HighLevel/LeadConnector and hosting or email delivery providers, to operate the website, forms, and newsletter. They process information needed to provide those services. We may disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect legal rights and the security of the service.
If you separately contact a guest or service provider, that business handles the information you give it under its own policies. Subscribing to Porchside does not request a contractor appointment or authorize marketing text messages.
Advertising and retargeting
Advertising retargeting pixels are not enabled as part of this Porchside launch setup. We may consider them later. Before activating them, we will update this notice to identify the relevant practices and provide the consent or opt-out controls required for the tools and audience involved. Retargeting may disclose browser or device activity to advertising platforms, which some privacy laws treat as sharing or sale even when no mailing list is sold. We will not upload our subscriber list to advertising platforms for audience targeting.
Your choices and requests
You can unsubscribe using the link in a Porchside email or contact us using the details below. Unsubscribing stops marketing emails; we may retain a limited suppression record to respect that choice. You can also request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information. Depending on applicable law, you may have additional rights, including receiving a copy of your data, opting out of certain processing, or appealing a declined request. We will evaluate and respond as required by applicable law, may verify your identity, and will not penalize you for exercising a protected right.

This service is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us so we can address it.
